Christmas in July

 http://case-ingchristmas.blogspot.com/

I could not resist this fun blog hop, my mojo has been on vacation so I thought this would be
perfect for me!  So much inspiration  from the design team and to copy one of my own
cards, and prizes too!

Above is my original card and below is my Christmas theme. The butterflies and snowflakes are double embossed on these two cards.

And them I kept going with pattern paper versus water coloring for some very quick and
easy Christmas cards to get the supply going for this year! These snowflakes and ornaments are cut out of gold cardstock versus embossing.

Happy Independence Day

Happy Independence Day to my USA friends and happy weekend to my other online friends!
Just a couple quick and easy cards made with a 2 Cute Ink digi. White background is embossed
with stars by Darice. The embossed stars on the red was my first time using two
different color embossing powders, I like that technique! The red and blue stars are
a roll of stars by Recollections.  Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for
stopping by!

House of Cards July Challenge

It's time for a new challenge at House of Cards:

Use a food image and/or Colors

fresh cut color

I just had to combine both, the colors were fabulous and I had this sweet little
bear with a luscious looking ice cream cone from Darcie's Heart and Home that
had not seen ink yet!  I colored with   Copics, used some Copic blender fluid on a washcloth to texture the bear,  then put some Glossy Accents on the Cherry and
sprinkles.  Next I made a starburst background with imaginisce Hello Cupcake
papers. Then a few embellishments from my stash.
Below is a close-up so you can see the details.

We have several new design team members so you will want to check out their creations!
