Introducing Butterfly Elements

 

 

 

I can't believe it is the final day of the June MHKDesigns release.  And my favorite set was saved for the final day!

 

Todays release is:

 

Butterfly Elements

 

 

 

I could not resist two cards with this beautiful set.  The top card uses Butterfly Elements and the new French Country Papers.  Below I printed Butterfly Elements on vellum and immediately embossed it in gold, added an embossed border at the top and a couple sequins and there we are.  Two birthday cards ready to go.  I have a lot of June birthdays so these will be mailed soon.

Wow, already day four of MHKDesigns release!  Another fabulous set:

I've Been Framed

I really liked this saying with the tree framing it, took minimal coloring with my Tim Holtz distress markers and paired it with some papers that have been in my stash for many years.   How do you like the photograph?  I found this wood slab at Michaels in the woodworking section and the window is my craft room/office window.  The lake is a bit muddy as we have had a lot of rain so stay tuned for a better picture when the rain has stopped for a bit.

Introducing Eat Your Veg!

 

Is this not just the funnest set! So much potential with this cute set for day 3 of MHKDesigns release!

I immediately pictured a shaker card with this hot pepper and "You are totally HOT,HOT, HOT and was quite pleased with the outcome.  The hot pepper at the bottom is fussy cut and has glossy accents on it for shine.  I had a difficult time getting a clear picture of this cards shaker section but you get the idea.  It is filled with all types of sequins, and glitter. This is going to dear hubby for Fathers Day. I hope you have a lot of fun with this set!

Introducing Beachy Keen

 

It is time for another MHKDesigns release!  Mynn has come up with some amazing new designs that you won't want to miss over the next 5 days, with chances to win either one of the sets or all of them!

I used a technique my friend Shirley (aka Glittered Paws) told me about.  Put your distress inks on an acrylic block and then pick them up with a clear Wink of Stella brush to color your image. I used this technique on the ocean and sand.  It shows up best on the close up below:
