The House That Stamps Built Pick of the Week-Front Step Card

Good Morning, Donna here with the POTW (Pick of the Week) for
The House That Stamps Built and we are going to make a fun,
yet easy, yes easy, Front Step card today. Any of the stamps
I used are 20% for 1 week!

Start by gathering your supplies:  Colored card stock measuring  4 1/4" by 11",
Patterned paper 4x 5 1/4", 2- 4x 1 1/4"'s, 4 x 1 1/4".   Scor tape.Scor card stock at
1/2-2-4 and 5 1/5 inches.

Attach patterned paper as shown. Put Scor tape on 1/2" flap and lay
card as shown below to attach, pressing firmly.

It will then look like this:

Color and attach images of choice, you will want to be sure that when lying flat
your layered image does not go above the top of the cardstock.  I did inside-outside
die cutting with my image to avoid this.

I hope you will give this a try!

A few fun challenges:

Thinking of you

I made this card for a dear friend in memory of
the anniversary of her sons death, I like to send
a thinking of you card every year.

Butterflies have many meanings and symbolisms when you look
up butterflies on line, each color butterfly actually has
a meaning.  Below are a few of the meanings I found:

Butterfly Symbolism: The purpose of the life of every Butterfly is to set everything
that was once known aside and to embrace an entire new way of being.

In early Christianity, the butterfly was a symbol of the soul.
To Native Americans, the butterfly is a symbol of change, joy and color.

Known for its lightness, the fluttering of its wings, and especially its metamorphosis from a caterpillar into something more beautiful and powerful, the butterfly symbolizes the soul, reincarnation, resurrection, and femininity.

My background is Distress Oxides squeezed lemonade
and mermaid lagoon, is that not a beautiful combination?
Butterfly die from Stampin Up.

Wishing you a wonderful day.
