Cat card

I sent this cat card to my friend Shirley and Wayne a few weeks ago when their sweet cat, Thomas, they had  for 20 years died. He was of course my favorite of their pets, so had taken pictures of  him on my last visit, knowing his time was coming and colored the image to look like him. The pattern for the crocheted heart can be found on Split Coast stampers.

We had a mysterious visitor in our garage and attic section behind the garage for a week.  Finally spotted and coaxed down the friendliest cat.  Buttons (Olivia) was chipped so her owners picked her up after 3 days.  We believe  they abandoned her at our house as we left the garage open the night before and she was petrified of the outdoors. We're glad she went home but also sad as we were ready to adopt her if she didn't, I've never had a pet so she would have been my first (other than fish and turtles but you can't play with them.)
