Brusho Shaker Card/Brusho Floral Card

 A few Challenges:

My dear husband surprised me with Brusho powders for Christmas.  I was watching the porch for other packages and did not see any boxes that resembles Brusho's so was sure I was not getting them, then I got down to my last gift and did a big happy dance! I've been wanting these since I first saw them used on Mary H.'s blog last July or August but did not want to spend that much $ on them. This is my first card.  I was quite happy with the results!  It will be on of my February birthday cards for work,  I make the  cards and for the group to sign and have 5 for February so I am getting a jump on them while I have fun experimenting!

My second attempt below will be for a January work birthday, I embossed the large background stamp in white and then used the Brusho powders.

 A few fun challenges:

  4. Two lovely Brushos cards Donna! Both very different - and it's hard to believe it was first play with them for you. Love the shaker card and your beautiful second card looks very much like Indonesian Batik - stunning!

  5. WOW WOW very nice - I "think" I have a set of the Brusho colors too and I keep trying to come up with an idea - well I don't think I need to wait any longer. Great cards and how awesome it is that you make birthday cards for all of your co-workers. I know everyone surely treasures those hand made cards with everyone signing.

  8. I came to learn of brushos the same place as you and I got some maybe a month ago when they first arrived in store in Norway, but have been to busy to try them out, but so looking forward to it. Love your first attempts of using them, especially love the effect of the colors with the embossed flower, must try that!
