MHKDesigns June/July Monthly Challenge

 
Hello, and welcome to our SURPRISE Birthday Beach Blog Hop for the lovely Asha!  You should have arrived here from Bernie Cuttino (guest) blog.  If not, start at the MHKDesigns blog to complete the hop for more chances to WIN!  We are celebrating a very special lady today, and we're doing so by creating beachy birthday cards to wish her many happy returns!
 
 
 

I used MHKDesigns Happy Birthday from the Eat Your Cake digital set and MHKDesigns Serene Seaside Papers.  I distressed my card, papers and die cut anchor and ovals  with Tim Holtz antique linen, tea die, and salty ocean inks,  and embellished with a few Dew Drops.

    Such a beautiful card here Donna!! I just love your anchor pattern in strips along with the anchor accent and your pretty dew drop accents! Awesome take on the colors! :)

    Love the soft sandy & cool blue waters colors of this one. It's a nifty design, and love that you echo'd the anchor die in the papers too. The rectangle strips in a pink/tan shade put me in mind of the bleached wood used in beach cottages. Very pretty. TFS & Hugs
