Newprint Tulips

It's time for another fun challenge at House of Cards!  Yes it is already August!  This month pull out your twine and or use the colors below.
AUGUST 2016
Use Twine and/or Colors

Be sure to check out the challenge rules over at House of Cards and the talented design teams take on this challenge. New members will be featured on the site each week.

I had some new twine I wanted to play with and my fairly new Zig Kuretake markers so I pulled out my Hero Arts Newprint Tulips, colored them, spritzed, stamped on glossy cardstock and got the image above with the close-up below.  I colored some swirls for the background and also colored the edges of cardstock for my layers to get a perfect color match.  A few purple sequins from my stash and I was done. I hope you will have some fun and join us this month.
