This week our Challenge at The House that Stamps Built is Joy's choice and she chose use a die cut. After choosing my die cut I went through my images and found one that fit my go to die Quick Cuts Nesting Ovals 4313-K Sunflower from Repeat Impressions. My oval background is my first go round with Yupo Papers, using alcolhol inks on the paper. And oh what fun they were, thank you Shirley for bringing them to my house to experiment with!! Since I made the card I have found out that Stazon is the ink to use, I used Memento stamped several times with my MISTI, which was beautiful until it faded and was still wet the next day, so I used Trandescent Embossing Powder on it but is not the deep black that I like.

Great card! It is very pretty. I love the sunflower and the Butterfly. I'm glad you got to experiment with the yupo papers. I heard the same thing about the stazon.

Great work with the yupo and alcohol inks, Donna. The faded flower adds a perfect subtleness to the project.
