Merry Christmas

Time for a photo inspiration at The House That Stamps Built.

No automatic alt text available.

My take focused on the Christmas tree.  I created a night sky with Distress Oxide inks and splattered some thinned white paint on it to look like snow, then dry embossed a white layer with a snow embossing folder and die cut a circle for the sky.  I then stamped Repeat Impressions 2719-K, Lg Pine Tree in green and then with Versa Mark and embossed it with clear embossing powder and added it to my card.  I then added Repeat Impressions 2202-G, May the miracle...  which is my Christmas wish to all my dear followers this year.  Thank you for your support, visits and comments this year!

We always enjoy seeing your creations and you get an extra chance to win if you use a Repeat Impressions stamp.  See my side bar for a code for a 10% discount. Details at The House That Stamps Built.

  1. What a pretty winter themed Christmas card! Your paint spatter match your embossing perfectly and add just the right touch! Love that sentiment too!

  2. I love that "window" with the "snow" falling, Donna. What a nice design touch for the bg of the pine tree. Using the pine tree as an embellishment worked perfectly against the embossed snow layer too. You've incorporated so many lovely elements. Great card.

  7. I do like this! Love the circle aperture to show off this starry sky, and adding the tree alongside, just so pretty. Liked how the embossing complimented the falling snow in the inky part of your design. What a perfect take on the inspiration photo too. TFS & Merry Christmas. Best wishes for a wonderful 2018.
