The House That Stamps Built: Photo Inspiration

Time for our weekly challenge at The House That Stamps Built:

This was our photo inspiration for this week:
Image may contain: flower

The trees are starting to turn here is Missouri so this was a great
photo for this week.

I stamped 3312-E, Maple Leaf several times with Versa Mark ink
randomly, embossed with clear embossing powder and then
applied Distress Oxides: wild honey, peeled paint, spiced
marmalade and fossilized amber. I embossed  and distressed
two more leaves which I fussy cut for embellishing.  I also
embossed and die cut 3214-G, Thanksgiving Blessings.

Join in the challenge for a chance to win the monthly drawing for a $25
Repeat Impressions gift certificate.  Details here.

  1. Such beautiful, gentle, soft autumnal colors, Donna! That inspiration photo is fabulous! Your inky beauty is especially lovely! By using the leaf image in dark lines under your sentiment, and contrasting it with the white leaves having already fallen below, you bring awesome motion and dimension to your masterpiece! It's gorgeous! hugs, de

  2. How pretty - love the fussy cut leaves - we must have been on the same track as I fussy cut as well. The white embossed leaves really adds to the whole scene. Great job.
