Cards for Little Hearts



 


 
A few of the cards I made to send to the Winter Themed Cards for
Little Hearts Drive .  Just think of the impact we could make if we
all sent even 2 cards this holiday season to a cause dear to us or
to two people we know who need a boost. 
 
When I was in grade school I was in the hospital and my roommate never
had a visitor.  My mom read to both of us and included her in
our conversation.  This cause is important to me as many of
these patients in the Heart Hospital are long term and may
not have many visitors, so hopefully a card will make
them feel special.

    Hi, Donna! I love all of your winter cards! I was trying to pick a favourite - first I said the snowman but then again I love the little fawn - and the other snowman - and of course the little penguin - and the skating bear! Oh my, they are all so cute! They will be so appreciated by the little ones - I was sad to read about your childood hospital roommate. That probably happens more than we'd like to think, so sad. Cards definitely make a difference. I had to give up this charity due to postage/shipping costs to the U.S. but I continue to donate to one in Canada. I wish I could do more of the card charities but our budget is a lot tighter now.

    I just adore each and every one of these wonderful creations Donna! They are full of joy and fun which will surely bring a much needed smile to a little one! You have a heart of gold and I agree with you totally! Some people suffer in silence and sometimes one little act can really change a life around! BIGGEST HUGS

    I take part in this drive too, I think it’s for a great cause. A friend of mine practically grew up in a hospital, I think she spent more or less her first 5 or 6 years in one and for many years she couldn’t partake in the fun in the playground. I think all these cards are cute. Especially love the design with the snowman’s head. But all are beautiful.
