The House That Stamps Built: Anything Goes

It's another Anything Goes week at The House That Stamps Built.

  My card:

Unfortunately we all need sympathy cards far too often. I wanted this
one to be bright and cheery.  I started with a die cut panel and brushed
on die inks, I added a white layer for extra dimension.  I used Repeat
Impressions Deepest Sympathy and then a few die cut butterflies.

Join our weekly challenge, you might just
be the lucky winner of the monthly drawing for the
$25 Repeat Impression's  gift certificate. you don't have to use
Repeat Impression stamps but an extra chance if you do.
Drawing is the first Wednesday every month.

  1. This is such a stunning sympathy card and I must admit I'm loving the colorful design instead of the usual soft pastel look. The colors you added look so pretty with the vellum panel and butterflies. I love it!

  3. You certainly achieved a cheery look to your card. Great job with keeping the colours separated and not ending up with a ‘muddy’ colour. Thanks for playing along with Color My Heart Color Dare. X

  4. Super card and it fits in perfectly with the new butterfly challenge colours.
I had to quickly make a sympathy card for The doc to send to one of his cousins as his elderly aunt had died in a care home. The care home had eight covid 19 cases and she was one of them. Never easy cards to make and even more so when they are for deaths from this dreadful virus. Hope you are keeping safe. Hugs Mrs A.

  15. What a serene, immensely lovely card. I too like to make a mix of somber and more vibrantly hued sympathy cards as well.
