This is such a stunning sympathy card and I must admit I'm loving the colorful design instead of the usual soft pastel look. The colors you added look so pretty with the vellum panel and butterflies. I love it!
ReplyDeleteWowzers look at that die cut and what you have done with it!! Just beautiful! It is bright, cheery, and perfect to celebrate the memory of someone's life well lived. This card is wonderful and the use of our palette is perfect! Thank you for joining us at Color Dare.
ReplyDeleteYou certainly achieved a cheery look to your card. Great job with keeping the colours separated and not ending up with a ‘muddy’ colour. Thanks for playing along with Color My Heart Color Dare. X
ReplyDeleteSuper card and it fits in perfectly with the new butterfly challenge colours.
ReplyDeleteI had to quickly make a sympathy card for The doc to send to one of his cousins as his elderly aunt had died in a care home. The care home had eight covid 19 cases and she was one of them. Never easy cards to make and even more so when they are for deaths from this dreadful virus. Hope you are keeping safe. Hugs Mrs A.
What a great die - and with the beautiful coloring it is a perfect sympathy card. Love the vellum sentiment and the cute little butterflies just add the perfect touch.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful sympathy card. So bright and cheerful and sure to lift someone spirits. The pink butterflies are the perfect touch as well.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card and colours Donna.Loz
ReplyDeleteSo pleased you linked your pretty card up. Hugs Mrs A.

ReplyDeleteIt's so pretty in the soft pastel colours and lovely to see you at We Love Chocolate Baroque, although we are a stamping challenge and this is mostly die cuts.

Gorgeous sympathy card!
ReplyDeleteWhat a serene, immensely lovely card. I too like to make a mix of somber and more vibrantly hued sympathy cards as well.
