JDS-Easter Jonquils

It is mid-month at Jan's Digital Stamp Challenge!  This month has flown by.

I started by coloring Easter Jonquils with Copic Markers and cutting it out on my
Scan n Cut, stamping one of the greetings from the set: Easter
Blessing on Vellum.  Next I stenciled Catherine Pooler's Loop Braid
stencil, then I put Tim Holtz's Dot Fade stencil directly on top of it and
stenciled with a slightly darker ink.  The look you get using two stencils
is such a wow factor.  You can go soft like I did or more vivid,
depending on your image and the look you want to achieve.

You can join the Anything Goes challenge, see the 3 new releases and what
my talented teammates have made at Jan's Digital Stamp Shop and Challenge.

  20. Sweet, serene, and ever-so-lovely!

With the bulk of the snow now gone (though, IMO, it is too soon yet to say if that is for good this time around), I am all but running outside as dawn breaks each day to see if the first spring flowers have appeared yet.

No dice as of today, but so long as the snow stays at bay and the daytime temps climb above freezing, that joyful event should be happening any day now (I can hardly wait!).
