JDS-Early May Bouquet

It is mid-month for Jan's Digital Stamps and I have a card to
share with you:

I used Early May Bouquet, one of Jan's new releases this month. I quickly
embossed it after printing.  Colored with Copics, die cut with
Tutti Designs Stitched Banner dies, embossed a floral design
and blended some color on to make the image stand out
more.  I topped with Happy Mother's Day from Floral
Finishes set printed on vellum.

All flower sets are on sale.  You can view them here.   To join the Anything
Goes Challenge click here.

  1. I would never have thought to emboss after printing. Does the ink stay wet long enough to hold the powder? Your card is lovely and you've introduced a new technique I must try.

  3. How pretty to emboss your image, Donna! My "old" printer was great at that, but this newer one dries really quickly. The only way it works for me is to print on vellum and have the embossing powder right next to the printer, then immediately heat. Which printer do you have? LOVE the colors and bold blue outline surrounding your banner creation! hugs, de
