Romance/Music

Time for another fortnight challenge at Allsorts.  Our theme this week is
Romance/Music/ ATG's chosen by Gail.

This card turned out very different than I had planned and I like the
final result.  I pulled out a very old stamp by Penny Black called
Rhapsody.  It did not stamp the complete image after several
inkings but I liked the look so embossed and went with it.  I colored
the flowers with Copics.  Die cut and embossed large hearts were
left over from last year.  I stamped and die cut the sentiment,
added some little die cut hearts and used an old stamp with dots on
it to fill ink.  I inked up panel and layered it.  I think this will make
a great Valentine's card for my husband.

Join in our challenge for a chance to win some great prizes:

Stamps and stencils (random selection) from AALL and Create

  1. Lovely Valentine's Day card for your hubby. The die cut hearts and sentiment are the perfect embellishment on top of the stamping.

    1. I mis-tyed, the challenge is not actually affiliated with Penny Black (the company) but they do require that Penny Black stamps are used.
