Winter Animals

Our first challenge of the year at Allsorts! With as cold as it is Helen
has appropriately picked the theme of winter animals, or ATG's is
acceptable. This was a fun challenge, I combined my two favorite
winter animals: bears and penguins.  I went ahead and cut two
dies of each and made two different cards.   Scarfs are
paper pieced. I thought these would be good masculine
cards for a winter birthday or next Christmas!

Spellbinders Warm Wishes die set

  1. The winter animals theme is such a strong start to the year, and your pairing of bears and penguins feels both playful and perfectly seasonal. The way you doubled the die cuts to create two distinct designs shows such smart use of supplies, and the paper‑pieced scarves add just the right touch of texture and personality. These really do read as great masculine cards, with clean structure and a crisp winter palette that keeps the focus on the characters. The glitter accents are subtle but effective, giving the scene a lift without overwhelming the design.

Wishing you and your family a very Happy New Year. Thank you for all your words of encouragement on my blog this year. It is so very much appreciated.
