Archiver's Class Cards




I took at class at Archiver's with my good friend, Shirley, and we made some amazing cards.  I put them in the order of my favorites.  Did not care much for the last one. What I liked was that we learned a lot of techniques that were new to us. When you've been stamping over 20 years new techniques are wonderful. We did muti-colored embossing, added glitter on top of embossing,  used distress stain on a combined clear and holographic embossed background, ribbon, and flowers, gathered ribbon on a card (can you believe I did not know how to do this, so simple - love it!).   Lot's of new things to add to my stamping!  I also played with  cropping my cards so you should be able to see details of my cards much better now, I'm amazed at how much the glitter shows up on these cards in the pictures. Let me know if you can see the difference compared to my previous posts, I did redo the picture on my last post. Enjoy the w/e and keep warm.

    These cards really do sparkle! Never saw such sparkle on any other

    YES, your photos definitely look better! Love your cards, Donna - can't wait to see Shirley's in real life! Sparkly beauties - each one! Thanks for sharing, and glad you had a good time...our friend needs a bit of cheer right now! Hugs...

    Love your cropping - they really pop off the page now. The class was fun and the teacher was very good, had lots of fun - "after our tummies settled down".

    Ooooh! These are so pretty with all that sparkle! Great pictures too... glitter is always a tough one for me to photograph!
