A Year of Flowers Fourth of July Card

I used Gina K's A Year of Flower's set to make this nontraditional Fourth of July gate fold card. What a fun versatile set this is.  I also bought the book A Year of Flowers, lots of great ideas that you will be seeing as I try them out.  They have a technique for every month, the rose card I posted a few posts back with the sponged circle behind it was from this book. I am sending this card to a chemo patient that I am a card angel for. Let me know what you think of the nontraditional card.  I will post my more traditional card on the fourth (I can't let people see it before I send it to them!)

  1. Donna, this is gorgeous! I would never have thought to use the patriotic color scheme with this stamp set! Beautifully done - thanks for sharing! Your photo is wonderful too - you must be taking photos in a new location??? Great job!
