Washi Tape Cards

Some fun Washi Tape cards Shirley and I made last week.  Shirley's original idea on the heart card came from Simplicity 's blog.  The heart die we used was from Hero Arts.  The flower card and butterfly card were a slight twist I came up with and use Amuse die cuts (just no white border as they were smaller die cuts).  I always struggle with what to use my Washi tape for so really liked this idea.  Very quick, yet bright and cheery,  I left the pink/green one without a saying and will add my saying when I am ready to send it so it can be for any occasion. Thanks  Susan, aka Simplicity!

  8. There are so many beautiful tapes and I've got loads but I too struggle to come up with design ideas. These cards are wonderful! I really like that the die cuts have the same patterns as the background and how they blend into the rest of the design still while adding dimension and interest to these clean designs.
    Love itM

  10. Hi Donna, just found your link over at KT Fit for Kitty and the mention that you are a power washi tape user. Had to pop over to enjoy the beautiful cards you've made using this product, which I don't seem to use so well. Love the clean lines of each card, yet the pizzazz you've created with the bright stripes of washi. Especially like the way you've matched the dimensional heart's design to the lines of the washi tape. So effective. Just became your newest follower, and hope you'll find time to visit me when you can. TFS
