Sending Smiles



I had so much fun with this card.  I water colored the background with some new Canson watercolor papers which seem to have a bit of a shimmer to them.  I then added some Brusho's in greens and a tint of yellow.  Since my paper was so saturated I dipped another watercolor sheet on it and ended up with two layers to play with.  After embossing Gina K's You Make Me Smile (a NBUS set) set in silver I sprayed my paper with a Copper sheer shimmer mist.   I then added  die cut stitching, layered it up and added a die cut butterfly. A close up is below.

    It's so fun making your own backgrounds when they turn out the way you want. This green and yellowish background looks beautiful with silver embossing. Simple and eyecatching design.
