Glittered Embellishments

Hello everyone! I have the  weekly Project of the Week at The House That Stamps Built, if you have a chance stop on by and leave me a comment there.

I thought I would start Monday morning off with bright and cheery Glittered Embellishments.

You will need: scrap card stock, punches, die cuts, glitter, a Xyron (you may substitute double sided adhesive or postal tape),  and Glossy Accents (optional).

Punch out as many shapes as desired with punches or die cuts, I would just double a few the first time:

The easiest way for the next step is to run them through a mini Xyron.  If you do not have a mini Xyron you can cover one side with, postal tape or double sided adhesive sheets (prior to cutting or punching your shapes out):

Remove adhesive and cover with at several colors of glitter, I use about 3 glitters per shape, including a silver or gold for shine:

Burnish well using your finger tool or a bone folder:

You can stop at this point and have beautiful embellishments:

Or take it one step further and add Glossy Accents for the look below:

I hope I have inspired you to try making some glittery embellishments for your cards or scrapbooks.  Thanks for visiting.
