The Wizard of Oz

It is a new challenge at The House That Stamps Built this week.  It is a Designer Choice Challenge and Cheri picked: Your Favorite Movie.  My card is inspired by The Wizard of Oz.
 
 
 
I do not know the last time I made a one layer card, it was lots of fun.  The clouds were done with a stencil and a combination of Oxide and plain Distress inks and lightly misted after.  I paper pieced and fussy cut : 9116-N, Hot Air Balloon Cluster, and stamped just the top of 2713-O, Rocky Shore Vista.

    I love your clouds, Donna and yes, it sure is a great take on the movie! I know this is a one layer card, but your balloons against that sky look dimensional.

    Hmmm . . . it is indeed a one layer card, but you created such a fabulous scene that I didn't even notice! Aren't these balloons perfect for paper piecing?!
