The Joy's Designer Choice Challenge: Glitter


This week was Joy's choice and she choose glitter.  I will let you in on a little secret,  I am not a glitter gal, it  stays on me and I find it all over my house forever.  But I decided to get messy and use real glitter for Joy's challenge.  Okay you are asking where is it.  I stamped up this darling Repeat Impressions 2007-I, Christmas Teddy and glittered up his hat and scarf and went to paper piece him and it just did not look right, so tossed those pieces. Okay glitter, hmm.  Got out some paper, stamped and cut out another hat and scarf and glittered it up with stickles, nope, it the trash also.  Hmm.  Okay worked on my design and then thought, okay glitter ribbon here we go!  Also used my red glitter pen on the holly berries.  I did have fun playing with the glitter.

    He is absolutely darling and love the glitter ribbon you used. Just enough glitter to add some nice texture. You know I love glitter. LOL

    What a darling little teddy and I love the glitter ribbon you used! Nice to hear that another crafter trashes her stuff (several times) before she gets it right! (smile) Love the way you card ended up -

    Unlike you I love to use glitter. Unless I'm in a no mojo phase I have glitter on me all the time, says hubby. Your card is ultra cute and super sparkly!

    Just love that bear - glitter ribbon is so much easier to use than glitter. I try and stay away from glitter as I always get it everywhere. Drives me crazy.

    Perfect way to get the glitter on there, Deonna. I love that little bear and the touch of glitter on his hat is another perfect touch. Great card.
