The House That Stamps Built: Sew Special

  The theme this week at The House That Stamps Built is Sew Special, a sewing 
theme, faux stitching ...

I immediately thought of this darling quilt stamp and sentiment that I 
had yet to ink up:

I went through my box of of backgrounds and picked one that I 
thought would look good on a quilt.  I then stamped it with 
my go to Versa Clair black ink and embossed it in clear.  I then
stamped the sentiment.  I die cut with a stitched die and 
added some ribbon to finish off the card.

    I've always loved this classic quilt background and the added ric-rac trim adds the perfect touch for a pretty home-spun card!

    Love your card - in fact almost used this one myself. What a great idea to use the rick-rak on the card - goes so well with the theme of this challenge. And imagine - it is purple.
