The House That Stamps Built: Scenery Challenge

This week Wendy would  like to see scenery cards at The House That Stamps Built.

I had a lot of fun creating this scene, I wanted to use this lovely
dandelion breeze as I had not yet inked it up. The gulls in flight just seemed
to go well with it, I punched a circle out of card stock to use as a template
to blend my sun.  Just because on vellum finished off the card without
taking away from the background.  The background was in my box of
backgrounds, I picked it as it looked like wind blowing with the
dandelion seed.

We would be happy if you join our weekly challenge, you might just
be the lucky winner of the monthly drawing for the
$25 Repeat Impression's  gift certificate. you don't have to use
Repeat Impression stamps but an extra chance if you do.
Drawing is the first Wednesday every month.

  1. This card reminds me of an old song called "summer breeze" - it's so pretty with those dandelions floating away! I really like that colorful background too!

  2. What a lovely beach scene, Donna. It reminds me of the early mornings my mom and I would walk the "foggy" beach, knowing the sun had already risen, but was hiding behind the fog's colorful ribbons of early morning mist. We could see the sunrise, but without the sun's intense shine on the water. What a fun memory. Thank you, Donna. It's a beautiful background, and an even prettier scene! hugs, de

  13. My word, this is beautiful. Such a peaceful, inspiringly lovely design. It makes me think of the sunrise Annie (our darling dog) and I witnessed yesterday morning on a very early morning walk. We're experiencing record high temps here, so the only safe time (especially for dogs) to walk at the moment is prior to 7 am or, some nights, after 10 pm. In short, when the sun isn't fully out!

Wishing you a relaxing, wonderful first weekend of summer, my friend!
