St. Patrick's Day tags

Time to start on those St. Patrick's day makes! When  all you have left
in your St.Patrick's Day paper pad is snippets you can make tags!

I cut strips of 1/2 inch from the snippets, traced the tag die on snippets of white
card stock and layered the strips diagonally before die cutting.   I then got
playing with gold embossing powder, I added it to the shamrocks, tag edges,
and my dry embossed bottom tag.  A bit of twine and I called it good.
I thought these turned out nice.

Second tag:

  2. These double tags look stunning in the various green patterned papers with your added touch of gold.

  3. The diagonal striping from your snippets gives these tags such great movement, and the mix of greens feels lively without being busy. The touches of gold embossing elevate everything, especially on the shamrocks and edges, and the dry embossed texture on the second tag adds such a nice contrast. A clever and polished way to use the last bits of a paper pad while keeping the designs fresh and festive.

  16. Wonderful St Patrick's Day Gorgeous tag Donna! Love all the green and the gold. I was studying for my IT degree in Cheltenham and one year our pre-exam revision week coincided with The Cheltenham Gold Cup Horse Race. I've never seen so many tipsy Irish men in one town in my life! And each one was totally charming, lifting their caps with a gentle bow and holding a chair out for you ..... if you dared to venture into a bar during that week. Me Mammy was half Irish BTW! So, I'm biased!

  18. Great St. Patricks tag and card. As son as I get back in my room (hopefully this weekend) I want to try the card using the snippets you have left over. I just saw someone else do this and thought oh how cool.
