Sweetheart

One of my favorite things about challenges is that you
discover new stamping companies by the sponsors.  This
is Annabelle by Milk Coffee the sponsor for Sketch Saturday
this week.  I think she is adorable and perfect for my
granddaughter.  I colored her with copics, used my nesting
eyelet nesting square die cuts, and yes another new 6x6
paper pack from Archivers, Authentique:  Smitten. The
Sweetheart sticker is also from the paper pack, I just
added some sponging around the edge.  I went back
to Archivers this w/e, the store is close to empty.
Also check out Scrappers Delight, the adorable sponsor
over at MIM this week and Oak Pond Creations at Crafting
by Designs.

Lighthouse Easel

Today is my dear husbands birthday so that called for  a
special card.  He likes all things nautical so I pulled out
this Stampin Up set I have had forever, and of course had
to buy a new 6x6 paper pack Down by the Shore by
fancypantsdesigns at Archivers! Enclosed was a
coupon for a hot air balloon ride that covers both
of our birthdays (mine is in a few weeks). He was happy!

Breezy Day

This is  a line of digi stamps I had not seen before,
Cuddlebug Cuties.  This is Bree.  Not my usual
style which is what attracted me to them.  You
just get in the mood to change things up. The paper is
jillibean soup-Grandma Lima Bean Soup.  I went
shopping with my mom at Archivers last week, one
last time before they close (although they went to
40% off today!) and bought some paper pads, (this was
one of them) and one stamp set.  Stamps are the only
thing that they had much of left. Sad that so many
stamping stores and companies are going under.

Valentine Owls

I got this Stampin Up Owl punch from a good
friend for Christmas and have been making lots
of Valentine cards with it.  I've also been using
the Negative Die Cut technique which I am hooked
on-look close and you can tell that the white area
is actually cut out of the red to show the white
cardstock underneath, instead of layered on top.
I saved the red piece to use later.    Now I center all my
die cuts and save one piece to use later. I used die cuts:
Nesting eyelet squares, Hero Arts Banner/Pennant,
Sizziz, Branch w/Leaves. patterned cardstock is Amuse,
and flower is Recollections.  I have a collections of
similar technique Valentine cards and will post some
of those too.

Hip Girl

This cute image is from Bodilsscrappeverden blog, they
have a lot of cute free digi's or you can find her on my
Pintrest board for free digi's.  I am hooked on the  6x6
patterned paper packs like I used here - they make it
so easy to coordinate, and you don't use them forever and
get tired of the papers (in other words I can just keep buying
more paper!)  - I used KI Growing Garden paper pad here.  I
used my favorite go to Die Cut Nesting Lace Ovals and Quick
Kuts Antique Doily (first time, I'll be using it a lot).  Ribbon is
Celebrate It (Michael's).  It has been snowing all day in St. Louis,
They are forecasting 8-12", and single digits the next 2 days, I
hope everyone keeps warm.

This will go to my new chemo buddy.
