Hello

Hello!    Hope you are having a good day and staying safe.  I am just getting
my crafty mojo back.  I have not been doing much card making other than my
Design Team, thank goodness for that!

I saw Mrs. A's Butterfly challenge with the curtain fold option and have
neglected her challenge so wanted to play along as I have only
made 1 curtain fold in the past.  I had forgotten how easy it was. I had
a snippet of patterned paper left so glued a butterfly to cardstock
ad used it on my card. I'm not sure of the manufacturer of
the Hello die.

The House That Stamps Built: Anything Goes

Its everyone's favorite week  this week at The House That Stamps Built:
Anything Goes.

Everyone likes a coffee themed card so I created this 5x7 card
for my stash using  Wendy's Brewed Quartet.   I've had this
coffee ribbon in my stash for a few years.  Background is
embossed with Darice's Striped Background folder. Gems
from my stash.

The House That Stamps Built: Pick of the Week

It's my turn for POTW (Pick of the Week) At The House That Stamps Built
and I am going to show how to create a simple sentiment strip on your card.

You will need white card stock, a strip of Washi tape, a background stamp,
a sentiment, ink of choice, a MISTI if available.

Mark off a strip about 2 " down from the top with Washi tape, first
press the Washi tape down on your pants or shirt a couple time
(ask me why I say this!)

Ink up your background stamp, I used Repeat Impressions
Flower Power Background, and Memento  Lulu Lavender,
Lilac Posies and Sweet Plum for an ombre look:

I used a scrap of vellum to get my placement just right.

Embellish as desired, I used clear Epoxy dots.

The House That Stamps Built: Inspiration Photo

It's Photo Inspiration week at The House That Stamps Built
and below is the photo Wendy gave us for inspiration:

I chose the colors this week:

I used the gray and lavender's for my sky and embossed
Bi-plane Silhouette over the clouds, I added an embossed
strip with Soaring by to say Hi, and used a die set by
Pawsitively Pawsome Designs: Cross Stitch Flat Bottom Circles
for my layers on a gate fold card that I scored.

The House That Stamps Built: Tic-Tac-Toe

Tic-Tac-Toe time at The House That Stamps Built:

I went with the top row: Shimmer/Sparkle, Dragonflies, and Dimension:

I started with creating a background  with distress oxide sprays, I
did some splattering and water stenciling on it. I then stenciled
Dylusions Fronds of Foliage stencil using Dreamweaver
Pearlescent embossing paste, I like how it picked up
the colors of the background. I finished it with a silver
embossed  Repeat Impressions Dragonfly Deco
and  Someone Special   on vellum and a couple brads
from my stash.

The House That Stamps Built: Designer Choice Challenge

This week is Shirley choice at The House That Stamps Built

interpretation.

I knew I had to ink up Repeat Impressions Lightning Bug Jar
for this one.  My sentiment is You're The Best. I stamped and
embossed both on paper from a pack I got awhile
back from Michael's Recollections Dark Rainbow, the
holographic papers were also in this pack.
