I made this card with some Altenew stamps,  had a lot

of fun making it.

can see the shimmer from the  Wink of Stella on the roses.

 Repeat Impressions: Hello Cling Set

I created my background with a stencil from Stamplorations and 

die cut a butterfly from them to coordinate, coloring the top layer of the 

butterfly with one if the inks I used for stenciling.  I wanted something 

to go with one of the "hello" greetings.

So Tweeeeeeet

 A couple cards I made with a stamp set and die that have been waiting

on my craft table quite some time to be used:

 

 

 

All three cards use Tweet News by Your Next Stamp and the first one

uses a die from My Favorite Things. The first one is for a good

friends birthday and the second for a boss's birthday at work

from the gang and the third is for the box.  Lots of fun sayings in

 this set.

The House That Stamps Built: Anything but a card

 This week we would like to see anything but a card at The House!

 I have had this tin sitting around for a challenge like this for a few years

and needed a place to put my new blender brushes so out it came!  I 

wanted to decorate it with things that make me happy, so out came

 Repeat Impressions: Butterfly (lg), Butterfly (sm),Dragonfly and 

lots of gems from my stash!

1 Stencil 4 Ways

 My turn to share a Pick of the Week at The House That Stamps Built, 

and I chose to use 1 stencil 4 different ways.  Lets get started.

 

These are the 4 stenciled backgrounds I created:

The first background I taped down at the corners two pieces of card stock,

so I could stencil a rectangle shape.  I sprayed my stencil with Pixie Spray

and blended with a brush, my preferred method with stencils:

 

My second background I started on the left with a heavy layer of ink and faded 

out as I went to the right:

On the third I choose three coordinating inks, putting each on approximately a

third of the card, going back and reblending between colors for a smooth finish:

For the fourth background I use double stencils to blend just an oval

shape in the center, you could also do this with die cutting the center

out of a piece of card stock:

 This week we would like to see a card (or project) with a tag on it for the challenge

at The House That Stamps Built.

Here is my card:

  I started by blending Distress oxides: worn lipstick, squeezed 

lemonade and cracked pistachio.  I triple stamped with my Misti:

Repeat Impressions: Flower Power Background,  once the oxide inks were

 completely dry.  I made my tag to coordinate with my layers, using 

Because and a die cut butterfly.

Boss's Day cards

 I won this wonder Blue Knight Daisy and Roses stamp set and another

 from my friend Shirley at My Pinkie is Inkie in Boxertown and was anxious 

to play with it. 

 

 I colored up 2 cards for boss's day (a bit early), the

first is colored with Copics and the 2nd is water colored with Zig markers.

The background paper is Pebbles, and I have just a tad left. My sentiment 

is computer generated.
