Butterfly Trio

It's the 5th Wednesday so anything goes at The House That Stamps Built this week, whoo hoo!

I played with my Distressed Oxides and water splattering with a puddle on my hand then picking the water up with my finger tool and splattering it for a larger splatter, I liked the effect.  Some inlaid butterflies, an embossed panel and one of the fabulous vertical greetings by Repeat Impressions: 6104-J, Birthday Vertical.

Join us this week for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions, two chances if you use a Repeat Impressions stamp.  Discount code available on my sidebar!

Cards and Colorado pictures

A couple retirement cards for a dear co-worker that I will miss tremendously, I've worked with her for 12 years.  I wish her all the best.  A few pictures from a recent long weekend in Estes Park, Colorado.  Lots of fun hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountain National Park.  The Aspen tress are in full bloom and are stunning.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Deepest Sympathy

This week at The House That Stamps Built it was Shirley's choice of theme's and she chose sympathy.  What a good topic as this is a difficult one and this will give all of us some good ideas.

I did a simple embossed card with some die cutting.  I used: 1317-L, Vase of Tulips and 4025-F, Deepest Sympathy.

I hope you will join the challenge, now each challenge runs for the full month.

Embossed flower with text

September 2017
Add text and/or Colors

Time for another challenge at House of Cards.  This month you can use text and or colors.  I sent with image I have had for ages that has the text and flower on one stamp. I embossed it with Pearlescent  Silver embossing powder and then covered it with Distress Oxide inks and spritzed with water, close up below:

It would be great if you joined in the fun with us at House of Cards.
