The House That Stamps Built: Anything Goes

Hope you are having a good week! It's time for an anything

I've been having fun creating Christmas cards so added this one to my
stash using Repeat Impressions: Ornament Frame and Snowflake Solid.
I fussy cut the ornament.  Used my Scor Buddy to make my lines, and then
splattered ink to match the ornament.  Joy is a Tim Holtz die cut.

Hope you will join our weekly challenge, you might just

The House That Stamps Built: Tic-Tac-Toe

Tic-Tac-Toe week at The House.  You know I like a fun fold so it was a given I
would do the Gatefold, I went straight down the center, also using the
Black cat, and embossing my image and sentiment.  Repeat Impression Stamps: 806-G,

The House That Stamps Built: Pick of the Week

My turn to share Pick of the Week at The House That Stamps Built and I was inspired
by a video by JenniferMcGuire on Creative Masking and as soon
as I saw it I pictured it with Repeat Impressions snowflakes solid lg. and sm.
 and had to try it.

My brief explanation of how to do this.
Cut a piece of white card stock to 7" by 8 1/2 ", scor at
3 1/2" and set aside.
Cut a piece of white card stock to  3 1/2" by 8 1/2", cut
a second piece out of scrap paper.  The scrap piece die cut
a circle 2 1/4 " towards the bottom as shown.  Save the circle.

Set the Scrap piece over your good card stock. Place circle with temporary
adhesive on the back in the circle and remove the rectangular piece, as below.
Use medium of choice to apply Distress Oxides to your card.  Stamp small
snowflakes with VersaMark ink.

Remove circle and place rectangular piece with the circle cut out of it over the
card with temporary adhesive on the back of it.  Stamp and emboss
snowflake.  Remove mask, die cut, put on 3 1/2 by 8 1/2" piece of card stock
 and embellish as desired.

The House That Stamps Built: Designer Choice Challenge

Wendy picked this week for our DCC (Designer Choice Challenge) at The House
That Stamps Built and she choose CAS-lots of white space and minimal
embellishments. I am not good at white space so this was a challenge for me.

I started with one of my favorite Repeat Impression stamps to color:
Vase of Tulips,  and used some fall looking Copic colors. I used a white
die cut (Frame in Frame by Taylored Expressions) and a white embossed  layer
(with a circular design) from my ready  to go box and
stopped, no gems, no pearls.  That was difficult but I do like the result.
Thanks Wendy for the challenge!

World Card Making Day

I got a new Catherine Pooler stencil and made up a bunch of backgrounds,
the ones above uses Distress Oxides:  broken china, speckled egg,
and faded jeans. Lighthouse die cut is Die Versions, I cut two so I could
use all the pieces from each.  I have another card to share once it reaches the
recipient, and will have more once I create with the other backgrounds.

Hope you had time to create today!
