Inspired by a Song

For Allsorts challenge Sarah has chosen the theme of Inspired
by a Song or Anything goes.

I was inspired by Rainy Days and Mondays.  This cute Avery Elle set: Look
for rainbows has been in my need to use container for over two years so
it was time to pull lit out.  One of my granddaughters likes rainbows so
this was her Easter card..  Colored with Copic markers, white gel pen
highlights and sequins from my stash to make it into a shaker card. I
also embossed the front layer with a Darice striped background
embossing folder.

See what my talented teammates made and join the
challenge at Allsorts, it runs for 2 weeks. We have
three prizes of die sets from  In2Craft.

Happy Birthday

I made this card for a few of my favorite challenges and to have in my stash.
I started with Altenew Bewitching  Rose Project kit, it came with the flower
arrangement above- the stencils, die cut, embossing folder-if you enlarge
the picture you can see the detail, and numerous sentiments.  The background
piercing die is from my stash but I do not have the name of it. I've made several
cards with this lovely set.

I can't believe I sealed and mailed all my Easter cards before taking
photo's.  I did have this one to give in person.  Image is StampIn

Stenciling

Time for a new biweekly challenge at Allsorts.  Val has chosen the theme of
stencils and of course anything goes is also acceptable.

I used a stencil by AALL & Create: Cascading Dots.  I chose several
colors and stenciled them one at a time, shifting the stencil each time.  I
added  a happy birthday die and background from Altenew, two
circle dies and a die punched star.  I always need masculine cards.

Then I misted my stencil and set it on a piece of white card
stock and got the lovely dotted paper below.  I die cut it
with a window die by Pawsitively  Pawsome Designs and
layered some coordinating flowers from My Favorite Things
and a hello die from Scrapbook.com.  I used colors opposite
on the color wheel and liked how this came out.

I could not waste the leftover frame and purple pieces so I
stenciled a background on vellum with the same stencil and
added it to a white base and layered it up with more die
cuts as named above.

It was great to get three cards from a fun crafting time.

Please join us at Allsorts for a chance to win the prizes below:

From Lisa Horton Crafts, Pansy Corner layering stencils with coordinating die and embossing folder. A second prize of two AALL and Create stencils....
