Baptism

This is for my great nieces Baptism next Sunday.  I have made a similar CAS card before and felt it was just right for a Baptism so just changed it up a bit with the die cut and embellishments.  Looking forward to the day with family.  Also have our annual stamping girls event next Friday and Saturday so have been getting my projects ready for that, looking forward to that time with good friends, stay tuned to see those projects!  Hope everyone had a special Valentines day/weekend!

Winter Wonderland

It is in the mid 60"s here in St. Louis, Missouri and here I am posting a Digi from Sparkle and Sprinkle called Winter Wonderland!  I colored this up a few days ago when we did have ice and snow on the ground!  This was such a fun image to color  with Copics and then add glitter, glitter glue and use my snow pen. Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend, thanks for stopping by!

Monthly work birthday cards

This is one of the group cards I made for February birthdays at work. The stamp is a Northwoods,  I stamped it a second time in black, colored with Copics, fussy cut and then covered with Versamark and then holographic embossing powder.  See how it shimmers?

House of Cards February Challenge

It is time for the February House of Cards Challenge with the theme of LOVE.  How perfect for the month of Valentines day.  I hope you will join the challenge!

This stamp set is from Sparkle and Sprinkle and I thought it would be just adorable for the Love theme and for my husbands Valentines Day card. Easel cards are one of my favorites so first I made my base 11x 4 1/4 "(scored at 5 1/2 and 8 1/4"), and 5 1/4 by 4 1/4".

Next out came the Copics: Y000,G12&94 E13, R20&22, and then B000,12&1, for the water.  For the water, first I laid down my blender pen, then the blues and used the blender pen after to get the soft water look. Then the free, yes free glitter Sparkle and Sprinkle sent with my stamps(Orchid Rose sparkles) on the hearts, red tinsel embossing powder on the word love (masked from a saying set I had). Washi tape works great for masking. Other supplies: Die cut: Spellbinders Scallop Circles, ribbon from Michaels, K&Co. paper.
To see the fabulous creations of the rest of the design team and to join the challenge go to House of Cards.

Valentine

A few quick CAS Valentine cards I made this morning before I headed out for the day.  I bought a new Valentines  paper pack on sale at Michael's so used that and die cut hearts with my Amuse heart dies. They a bit dull  at first, so on the first card I added some red sponging and dry embossed my top cardstock and on my second card dry embossed my hearts and layered.  I've been into the red and brown combo this year for valentines. The Valentine cards are almost done!

Washi Tape Cards

Some fun Washi Tape cards Shirley and I made last week.  Shirley's original idea on the heart card came from Simplicity 's blog.  The heart die we used was from Hero Arts.  The flower card and butterfly card were a slight twist I came up with and use Amuse die cuts (just no white border as they were smaller die cuts).  I always struggle with what to use my Washi tape for so really liked this idea.  Very quick, yet bright and cheery,  I left the pink/green one without a saying and will add my saying when I am ready to send it so it can be for any occasion. Thanks  Susan, aka Simplicity!

Teddy Hug

This sweet little image is a Bugaboo digi called girl teddy hug.  I thought she was just adorable!  I hope you have had some relaxing time creating this week.  My friend Shirley, aka Glittered Paws, was up from Farmington for a day of stamping and chatting so I will have lots of cards to post so stay tuned.

I colored this little sweetie with some Copics, used paper from American Crafts ,a saying from a stamp set from Maybelle RO, and a flower from Prima Flowers,  And of course it needed glitter, so used my Sakura pen on the hair and dress.  Hair is not my best but I was quite happy with the outcome on this card.

Thanks for stopping by!
