House of Cards   November Challenge:   

Technique Challenge: Stamped Punch Window

 

 

                                            

For my card I started with this Autumn digi from Sparkle N Sprinkle, after coloring with my Copics I added some glitter to the cats and leaves (see close up below) and then on to making my punched window.  Be sure to check out House of Cards for Mynn's video on how to do this technique and each week a team member will have another video with a twist. 

Normally your paper forming the frame to your window is mounted with foam tape, my frame was too skinny or it was the embossing but it was not pretty so I cut out several windows  and glued them together to get the dimension I needed for my window. I added some sequins and an embossed Pumpkin and was good to go!

Cardinals

I won this adorable Cardinals image at Creative With Monika, you can purchase it at her new JCLA Etsy shop, along with many other adorable images, many with Indonesian touch.

 

I used my Copic markers to color the Cardinals, highlighted them with blue inks using my Rangers blending tool and framed them with a Tim Holtz  wood grain embossing folder with an opening  cut with an Eyelet die cut.  I can picture these making a nice Christmas card too!

Angel Bear

I got my new Chemo Buddy this weekend so this is her first card, this is

the color for lymphoma. I am getting a lot of use from this set, Angel Bear

with Ribbon from imagethat...digis by kris.

Breast Cancer Teddy Bear

                                   



This darling teddy bear for breast cancer awareness is part of a digital set is by imagethat...digis by kris, it is free for the month of October with proof that you have donated funds (a minimum of $5.00) to your favorite cancer charity or organization.  I die cut a doily and butterfly, then embossed the butterfly about 5 times with clear embossing powder and then die cut two gray circles to give it the rigidity to hold my Easel Card open.  I am waiting for a new Chemo buddy so it will go to them if appropriate or a special request chemo patient.

Great Outdoors

We have a friend that is an avid outdoorsman, fishing,

hunting.. and his birthday is next week, so this will

be in the mail to him.  Those fishing trips give us

some girl stamping time, with a least a couple

overnights a year filled with crafting!

October release time at MHK Designs and  Fabulous Fall digi set is the featured set today, these images and saying are so versatile.  You can view the five new sets at MHK designs along with all of Mynn's fabulous designs!                                                                                  

 I colored these with Copics  and then on the top card I used some twinkling H2O's on top of the leaves.  On the card with the butterfly I used an embossing pen randomly on the leaves and raspberries and sprinkled holographic embossing powered on them and  brushed some of it off to give it a textured look. The pattern papers are also from MHK Designs.
