 Time for a Red, White and Blue challenge at The House That Stamps Built!

 

 I had a die set sitting on my desk that I had not used and thought it would 

be perfect for a multi color card.  It has two dies that can be layered, or

the lower layer can be cut twice and one flipped over, you could also save the 

little pieces and fill them in another color.  Stay tuned!

I made a little shaker and added it's your birthday! for a

perfect finish! My dad's birthday is on the 4th of July

so this card is for him.

The House That Stamps Built: Scenery Challenge

                 This week Wendy would  like to see scenery cards at The House That Stamps Built.

 I had a lot of fun creating this scene, I wanted to use this lovely 

dandelion breeze as I had not yet inked it up. The gulls in flight just seemed

to go well with it, I punched a circle out of card stock to use as a template 

to blend my sun.  Just because on vellum finished off the card without 

taking away from the background.  The background was in my box of

backgrounds, I picked it as it looked like wind blowing with the

dandelion seed.

The House That Stamps Built: Black and White Challenge

 

     Our challenge this week at The House That Stamps Built is to just use black

and white on your card.

 I went with some patterned papers that have been in my stash for quite 

awhile, added a Deepest Sympathy sentiment and Dragonfly Deco,

stamped on vellum and embossed with a shimmer black embossing

powder. Unfortunately we need to have a few of these in our stash.

 

Black and white cards are quick and easy and usually very elegant.

The House That Stamps Built: All About the Boys

  We are starting June off at The House That Stamps Built with an All About

The Boys Challenge - Fathers Day or Masculine -your choice.  I went

with Father day:

While I was making my card, I decided to do a twofer and make two slightly

different cards using Bass Harbor Light on both, on horizontal and one

vertical.  The images are colored in Copics, then masked and the 

backgrounds blended as sunsets.  I added a sentiment to the top one,
