 My take on Wendy's sketch:

 

I went with a Christmas card featuring Repeat Impressions 

These three gifts, embossed with Pearlescent embossing

powder.  Background is Distress Oxides: cracked

pistachio, worn lipstick, and seedless preserves. 

The colors lightened when I sprayed them with

a glimmer mist for a nice soft look.

 Everyone's favorite at The House That Stamps Built: Anything Goes.  I went with

another Christmas card for my collection:

Repeat Impression Supplies: Pointsettia

I embossed the poinsettia, framed it with a die cut,

created my own background and added ribbon and gems for 

some sparkle and interest.

Anniversary and Birthday

 A few cards I sent out recently:

The first one was for my parents anniversary, I used  Whimsy Stamps

Froggie Friends.

The seconds was for my sons birthday, he has been a runner since 

high school. Background is Catherine Poolers Loop Braid stencil

and the shoes have been in my stash forever.
