JDS-Peony Bloom

 

 Such a beautiful set for this month, so cheery and full of hope. I colored

the peony from Peony Bloom with Copics after cutting it out on my

Scan N Cut. Die cuts are by various companies.

JDS -Sweethearts

 This is one of two posts today.

 

Time for another challenge at Jan's Digital Stamps. I am using the second

of her two new releases this month: Sweethearts. 

 

 I wanted something other than a card and envisioned a heart hanger. I 

found this rust colored Amuse heart paper and after googling 

 vintage colors, I colored this sweet image.   I used heart dies by

Elizabeth Craft Designs and Nellie, and some stitched rectangle dies.

Ribbon and gold cording was in my stash.

JDS-Lovin Lily of the Valley

 Happy 2023 everyone! I hope the New Year finds you happy and healthy. 

I am back with Jan's Digi Stamps design team after a month off for the holidays.

I created this fun fold card (inspired by a friend Cheryl) using this month's new

release Lovin' Lily of the Valley and a Happy Birthday from another

set Fall Berries.

JDS, Red Cardinals

 Already November and time for another monthly challenge at Jan's Dig Stamp

Challenge. 

 

  I am using one of her new stamp sets this month Red Cardinals.  Papers are

Winterberry from Hobby Lobby and the Noel  Die is  Tim Holtz.  I hope this

starts to put you in the holiday mood!

 

 

I had a fun day back in October, Jan of Jan's Digi Stamp's and her

husband Dick were visiting not to far from where I live so we

got to meet up for a visit on a beautiful fall day.  Amazing

people!

JDS-Winter Snowbirds

 Mid month at Jan's Digi Stamp Challenge.

I used another of Jan's new releases this month, Winter snowbirds.  I went

with the pre-colored version and added some personal touches with

Wink of Stella, white gel pen and Sakura glitter pen. Sentiment and

image die cut and layered with StampIn Up dies, doily die by

Quick Kutz, and patterned paper by the Paper Studio.

JDS-Candy Corn Witch

 It's a new month so a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamp Challenge.

I had fun creating with her Candy Corn Witch.  I arranges the pre-colored

candy to make a digital background and then I colored the witch with 

Copics.  I made a swing for her and die cut the sentiment. A strip of

Wash tape to add interest and I was done.

JDS-Autumn Leaves

  Time for another challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps.  I went with Autumn Leaves 

this week,  it has a lot of lovely images but I was drawn to the

sentiment below which is one of my favorite:

 

 

I made a notepad holder that highlighted the sentiment, I used

a fallish patterned paper and printed the sentiment on

vellum and quickly covered it with Trandescent Embossing

powder.  I added some adhesives for decoration.

JDS, Fresh from the Farm

 

  I went with Jan's pre-printed images from her Fresh From the 

Farm set and arranged several of them on the computer

before printing.  I cut them out with my Scan N Cut.  I cut

the sentiment out with  a die.  I layered two coordinating

patterned papers by Photo Play: Mad Plaid Fall and

then embossed them together for the look above.

JDS-Crafty Friends

   

 

 Time for a new challenge at Jan's Digi Stamp Challenge. I am using

Crafty Friends and have created a fun shaker card.

Background is stenciled with Catherine Pooler's Loop Braid 

stencil.  My shaker is created with numerous die cuts of

Stitched Circles by Lawn Fawn glued together with

acetate below the top layer.  Miscellaneous sequins

from my stash.  Images colored with Copics.

JDS- Annual Free Set: Ornaments

 Happy 4th of July to those that celebrate!  And yes, I know I am posting a

Christmas card today, today is the release at Jan's Digital Stamps of her annual

free Ornament set and I did not want you to miss it! 

 

 I chose to make an diamond fold card, the first picture is with it open and the second

shows how it folds flat for mailing.  It is colored with Copics.  Papers have been in my

stash forever and are from K & Company. Pictures and tutorials are all over

Pintrest, this is the one I found to have the easiest to follow instructions:

These images are both from Jan's Digital Stamps, the sentiments on the

top one is computer generated and was sent to friends of ours and

the one below it is for my dad's birthday!

JDS-Star Spangled Banner

 It is mid month at Jan's Digi Stamp challenge!

Above is another new release Star Spangled Banner!

 

 I started by printing the precolored version of Star Spangled Banner on

my Scan N Cut, I adjusted the size up to cut a red layer and then up

again for a blue layer.    I then cut snippets of card stock and patterned paper 

for layers and embossed all of them with a star embossing folder.  I printed 

one of the sentiments in the set, die cut and layered it, adding

a star embellishment.

JDS - The Good Life

 

It's the first Monday of the month so it is new release time at Jan's Digi

Stamp shop and time for a new monthly challenge at Jan's Digital Stamp 

Challenge.

 

I am creating with one of her new June releases The Good Life.  I went with

the pre-colored version as she colored the denim overalls so beautifully. The patterned

paper is Sea & Shore by Hackney & Co,  I got this great nautical pack at a little

stamping store in a small town, Kimswick, MO.  The top of the background is

splattered with red and blue paints. Die cuts by Stamp In Up.

JDS-PAWS-itively

 Mid-month already so time for another card post for Jan's Digi Stamps:

Isn't this kitten adorable?  After coloring him with Copic markers, I cut this

image out on my Scan N Cut.  I stamp Happy Birthday (from Jan's other

release this month The Aviator) die cut it.  After corner punching my papers

and adding gems to the center of some flowers my card was complete.

PAWS-itively.

JDS-The Aviator

 It's a new month and two new releases at Jan's Digital Stamps, today I am sharing

my card made with The Aviator.

This set comes with numerous blake & white, and colored images, and lots

of sentiments. I thought this would make a good Father's Day card.

JDS-Best Wishes

It's the first Monday of the month so it is new release time at Jan's Digi

Stamp shop and time for a new monthly challenge at Jan's Digital Stamp 

Challenge.

 

 I adore both of her new releases and played with both as soon as I got them.  

this one is Best Wishes.   I moved the sentiment on to the envelope before

I printed the image.  The stencil is Doily by Deco Art and has been in my

ever growing NBUS (Never Before Used Stuff) pile and I thought it went 

well with this image. I used a yellow gel pen around the flower centers but it 

is difficult to see here.    In two weeks I will show my card made with the other 

new set Wedding Magnolias.
