Gnome Birthday Wishes

 

 

This card is for a good friend that I met online and have 

been lucky enough to meet up with a a Stamping 

Convention.  Gnome and front sentiment are from

Technique Junkies, die cuts by Lawn Fawn and Stampin Up, 

papers from Stampin Up, and inside sentiment by IO. 

I added Wink of Stella to the hat, and added Sakura gel pen

 and white gel pen accents to the patterned paper.   I added

 a wobble element to the gnome for fun.

 Snippets:

I got a new die from Simon Says stamp, Circle of Leaves, and can see

so many ways to use it. I had to play with it right away but am just now

posting the cards I made.  I went to my container of backgrounds

for these cards.

JDS-Free Merry Christmas and Candy Cane

 It's mid month at the monthly challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps.

 

 I thought this free Merry Christmas would be perfect for a

shaker card.  I added the Holly from Mrs. Teddy Bear.  I cut 5 layers 

of my  frame versus using foam tape-I think this gives a nicer

 look even  though it is more time consuming.  Sequins 

from my stash.

Pumpkin Pie

It's a new month so time for new releases and a new monthly

challenge at Jan's Digi Stamps.

I had so much fun making this card.  I used the new set

Pumpkin Pie, ( part of the Fall sale) papers by Stampin Up.  

This was the easiest fun  fold I have ever made. I cut two colored 

panels 4 1/4 by 5 1/2 inches.  White card stock is 4 by 11 1/2 inches 

and scored at2" and 6 1/2 ", fold and set closed on the back panel,  

glue the back panel then fold and put glue on the smallest panel, 

keeping it closed and set the front panel on top to line up with

the back panel.  Design your card either vertical or horizontal.

That's it-so easy!

Fun fold card for Creative Creases

 I am excited to be guest designing at Creative Creases today.  Here is 

my fun fold card:

 

Inside:

Trying to show the shimmer:

All supplies are from Stampin Up except the inside birthday sentiment

 (from a magazine)  and the Lawn Fawn die used for the Happy Birthday.

Directions:

Cut base card stock to 10 1/2' by 5 1/4", scor at 1 5/8  and 3 3/4, flip

card stock and repeat.  Layers are:

Inside: 3 x 4 1/4 (colored card stock) and 2 3/4 x 4 (white card stock)

Front right:  2 1/2 x 4 3/4 x (colored card stock) and 2 1/2 x 4/1/2 (patterned paper)

Front left: 2 3/4 x 4 3/4  (colored card stock) and 2 1/2 x 4 1/2 (patterned paper)

 

Flowers are cut from the same card stock that I used and backed with

card stock for stability and dimension.  Wink of Stella applied for 

shimmer.
