Wine Tableau
This is a stamp set I just got from Sparkle N Sprinkle- Wine Tableau. What fun to color with my Copics! Of course I used loose glitter on the flowers after covering with my glue pen. On the grapes I used my Versa Mark pen and embosses spots of holographic embossing powder, the picture does show the shine on the grapes like in person.

Tea-rrific Birthday
Since my trip to Michaels last week I've been anxious to play with some denim products. It seemed like the new rage is denim. They had denim Washi tape, flowers, materials, decorated vases ,close pins, bulletin boards... display after display. Of course a few denim things ended up in my card. I had a gift card from the gang at work since I make all the group birthday cards so I treated myself to some nice things. The denim washi tape above, the denim I die cut the flowers with and the Hero Arts background stamp were among the items. I already had the denim Kaleidacolor pad that I stamped the image with. The teacup is from Small Stamps and had never seen ink before.

Stamping Get together
Had a fun get together lunch, shopping, and of course stamping with my friend Shirley this week. She was in town to take her son for an appointment so fun afternoon/evening for us! Did not do a lot of stamping mainly chatted and caught up. Here are a couple of the cards, we played with Ombree in pads. The top card we used a Hampton Arts stencil and pearls I had and a die cut she brought with her, like how that worked out. The next card was a new Hero Arts background stamp I got that day on sale at Michaels, I can see using it a lot.
Have a wonderful weekend. Off to finish same favors for a baby shower at my house next weekend!!

Springtime
This was a fun card to make! Coloring directly on a stamp with marker and spritzing with water can get such a varied look, you just never know what your end result will look like. I used my Tim Holtz distress markers and was happy with the result. My background is Amuse cardstock, I used a piece of MME patterned paper, scrap black cardstock, some Washi tape and a butterfly brad from my stash! The floral stamps is Paper Inspirations and I have had it for a good 10 years, a classic!

Happy Birthday Monica
Happy Birthday Monika! My friend Monika is celebrating her birthday with a Linky Party to celebrate where you CASE one of her beautiful cards! What a fun idea, I just had to join in the fun.
I created a background by rubbing some Tim Hotz's distress inks on my Craft Sheet, spritzing with water then smooshing my paper on the mess of inks. Above is the background I got - a nice winey collage of color like I was going for. I embossed the grapes and sentiment and then decided to add a back ground with wine glass, all stamps from Wine Tableau set from Sparkle N Sprinkle. I added some Plantinum glitter from Sparkle and Sprinkle to the bubbles and grapes. I have known Monica (also Loz, Pia and Asha) from when Make it Monday had their weekly challenge and encouraged you to comment on each others blogs and we have all continued to visit each others blogs when this challenge ended, that is why I picked this sentiment "Friendships like wine improve with age".
Happy Birthday again dear friend!

Fluttering by
I've been absent from blog land lately, I've been working extra hours and have missed having my time off to create and visit your blogs. Hoping to catch up this weekend.
Above I used an alcohol ink background from my stash and painted some Delta Sparkle Glaze that had been unopened on my shelf for many years! The image is Upsy Daisy from Stamp Up (been sitting on my table for over a year) embossed in a fine black, and the butterfly die cuts Memory Box and Amuse, I also used a scallop border punch to add more interest.
Glad you stopped by, have a wonderful weekend!

House of Cards April Challenge
APRIL 2015
Add a Butterfly &/or Color Challenge
This months challenge for House of Cards is Add a Butterfly &/or Color Challenge. As you can see above I went with the Butterfly theme. I have been playing with a stash of alcohol ink papers I had stashed away from years ago and this is what I came up with. I pulled out my Memory Box die and cut 3 Butterflies into the background, cut out a Happy Birthday with a Poppy Stamps die to match my background. I punched a couple butterfly corners for interest and got carried away with the gems from my stash. Below is a close up:
I hope you will join in the challenge at House of Cards and come back each Monday to see more creations from my fellow design team members on display!
Thanks for visiting!
