Embosssing

Lynne has picked the fun theme of Embossing: Heat or Dry for Allsorts challenge:

 My card:

 I started with a scrap piece of gold card stock and picked out a 3D embossing folder: 

Secret Garden by Gemini, that I had not used before. I went with a bright paper, 

smooshing on some gold pigment ink. My flower is from a new Penny Black

set: finest petals-I decided to emboss it in gold to keep with the embossing theme,

and colored it with Copic markers.  I cut out a white and a vellum oval (the vellum 

has a faint gold design on it to ground my image.  The Happy Birthday is a sticker placed 

on leftover gold card stock. And of course a few gold gems to complete my card.

Snippet Christmas Card

 

White snippet used:

 This Christmas I am use several (numerous) Christmas NBUS stamps to make  

my Christmas cards versus one main stamp.  I did get a new  sentiment for the

 insides. This stamp is a Unity itty bitty: A child is born,

 it finally saw ink, being stamped in a pigment galaxy gold on a

white snippet and embossed.  A few die cut layers using Stampin Up 

stitched rectangles.

Colors of Summer

 Sarah has picked the fun theme of Colours of Summer for Allsorts Challenge.

 My card:

I started with blending cheery summer colors of Distress Oxide on my

background: squeezed lemonade, picked raspberry and cracked

pistachio.  I then stenciled on top of this with a stencil in the same

colors.  I stamped a sentiment stamp randomly in gray on the background.

My focal image is a Poppy Metal flower die which I dipped in

Oxide inks until I got the color I wanted.  I layered the flower on a 

vellum die cut so t would stand our from the background.  Birthday wishes

is by StampIn Up.
