Hello

I gathered up all my pink snippets to start, trimmed them up and adhered to
a 3 3/4" by 5" piece of card stock, then trimmed the edges.  I embossed
the panel with a Cuddle Bug  Mosaic embossing folder. I used additional
snippets to die cut Pink Fresh  Mini Hello word die and Simon Says Stamp
Fiddly Leaf.  This was a fun card to make.

Hello

I was inspired today by the sketch on Try it on Tuesday.

I was inspired by the sketch on Try A Sketch On Tuesday challenge, it was
simple and striking at the same time.  It was fun going through my
snippets (scraps) and pairing them up, I used a old Kaiser Kraft paper
pad and an old partial background which I used for color inspiration.
After pairing the papers I picked a few more snippets from the
pack for the Pinkfresh Studio Hello die and broke out a new butterfly die
from IO. This may become my go to sketch to use up some of my
patterned paper packs!

Hot Cocoa

Time to be starting on Christmas card. I started with cards for the
grandchildren.  This one used a lot of snippets:

I used set by Momenta, it does not have a name on it but contains
all the pieces above.  Merry Christmas is from an older Angel Company
set. Ar Perfect Arches and Tags die by Spellbinders.

Thinking of you

I had several backgrounds similar to this one and decided to use them.  The
turtles were already colored  (except the flower) and the sentiments in my sentiment
binder.  I embossed the background, die cut the circles and the
green piece behind the sentiment and was ready to assemble.  My snippets
were, the white for the sentiment and behind the turtle, and the
embossed background as it had been around for
quite while.  It'salways nice to have a few any occasion card to send out.

Flower Power

I was the lucky draw for the prize at Snippet's Playground last time and
was anxious to play with my goodies.  A few are stamped ready to make,
the one above with image from Crafty Roo was the first completed.
The blue background was colored and stenciled in my background box,
I added some stamping to it, colored the flower with dye inks
and splattered with white and pink.  The black border and the black and
white paper, and the butterfly were also snippets. Mixed media is a challenge for
me, but I really enjoyed making this card.

Golden Butterflies

I came across these aqua/gold scraps a few weeks ago and wanted to create
with them.  I found come gold and vellum snippets to go with them.

I wanted each of them to be unique so browsed my die cuts and picked
out a few.  Did some layering and splattered metallic gold and aqua
paints on them. A few embellishments and I was happy with
my butterfly cards.  I've already mailed several as thank you's
for food and kindness given to me while recuperating from my
hip replacement surgery.    Thank you to my friends/followers
for their good wishes.  I am doing well and have my 3 week
checkup next week.

Snippet card

This is my second post today.

Dry embossed panel I cut my snippet from:

I got this darling set from a friend of mine for no reason.  I have seen a
lot of darling cards made with it, and I just had to make her a thank
you card with it.  I had a scrap (snippet) of an inked dry
embossed panel that I did not like but thought would make a
good die cut chair.

posting the cards I made.  I went to my container of backgrounds

JDS-Star Spangled Banner

It is mid month at Jan's Digi Stamp challenge!

Above is another new release Star Spangled Banner!

I started by printing the precolored version of Star Spangled Banner on
my Scan N Cut, I adjusted the size up to cut a red layer and then up
again for a blue layer.    I then cut snippets of card stock and patterned paper
for layers and embossed all of them with a star embossing folder.  I printed
one of the sentiments in the set, die cut and layered it, adding
a star embellishment.

You can join the challenge here, and check out the store here.  I hope you share
your anything goes creations with us.

Thanks for visiting.

Snippet Session

It was time to empty out some of my snippet (scrap) box as the
top would not close.  I made a dozen quick cards to add to my
cards for cancer patients.  Everything except the card bases came
from my box.  Some of the card bases had been sitting around
in a scrap pile for years also. Once I stamped the Stamp In Up's
Natures Prints flower and sentiment on the bottom left card (it was
already oval blended) I found every die cut in the box that it would fit
on! Flowers and butterflies were cut from scraps.
