Fall Stenciled Card

Okay, I just can not decide about this card.  It sat on my desk for almost 2 weeks before it went on a card versus the trash.  I did a fall colored Brusho background and used gold paste with a Tim Holtz Wild Flower stencil. I bought some metallic paste and added it yesterday and added some distress inks.  My husband says it looks like a Monet, what a dear.  Only one work birthday this month so  that was my original intention for this card. I think it is just so different from my usual.  Let me know your honest opinion.  Hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I think it's beautiful, Donna! Not sure why you're not happy with it! It's very different from your usual style but I have to agree with your hubby - it's a masterpiece!

I agree with your husband, Donna, and that's my honest opinion. There something special with the light here, the white lines around the image have a really special effect. A piece of art!

Well, i often ponder the mysteries of life as a crafter-- so glad this ended up on a card, not the bin! The only other place I can picture it is in a frame! Honestly beautiful. The colors are soft yet lively. So grateful you shared with Blogland, and Shopping Our Stash in particular. As for the recipient, this card could be used for multiple occasions. Bonus!!!

A Monet it is. I love the dreamy colours and that is a super background. Love the blue you have put with it. It is Thundering here at the moment but no rain. We had a terrific thunder storm and rain earlier this evening. Set for more of the same tomorrow. Hugs Mrs A.
