Lazy Days

It's Designers Choice Challenge week over at The House That Stamps Built and Deonna choose Create a Scene, a very popular theme in blogland, so hopefully we will have a lot of people joining the fun this week!
I went with a peaceful summer scene using:
I colored the trees with Copics and then sponged my scene with Distress Inky, using a cloud stencil, a piece of punched cardstock for the sun, and torn cardstock for the grassy hills.
Join us at The House That Stamps Built for a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions!  Once chance per entry per week, drawing once a month, 2 entries if you use a Repeat Impressions stamp! Discount code at the top right of my blog.
Check out the great designs by the rest of the Design Team:

Pretty summer scene and great take on the sketch as well. I remember as a kid having a hammock in the backyard.

This is definitely a peaceful summer scene! I could just take a book and relax there in that hammock, but, alas, something is always calling. : ) Great scene and the sketch worked perfectly for it!
