The House That Stamps Built: Pick of the Week

My turn for POTW - Pick of the week at The House That Stamps Built.

I am going to make some fun book marks.

Gather up scraps of white and colored card stock., some favorite
stamps with coordinating saying:  I uses Repeat Impressions:
Big Boy Toys: Bi-plane Silhouette, Soaring by to say Hi,
Hot Air Balloon Cluster and Sending Smiles.  From  Pairings:
Happy Bees, "Bee"cause, Cupcakes and Sweet.

Start with a 2' x 3' piece of white card stock, stamps and color your
image, some like the Happy Bees needed a larger piece.  Sentiment on
most will be 1 1/34' x 2 1/4 ".  Trim colored card stock slightly larger.
Attach layers and ribbon with Scor tape, all will be face up when
attaching.

Attach picture and sentiment piece with ribbon:
This is how the book mark lays in the book:

Wendy is offering 20% off all the stamps I used on my bookmarks,

WOWZER Donna! These bookmarks are absolutely ADORABLE!! I haven't make one of these types of bookmarks before and I'd like to give it a try...I'm always seeming to need them anyway! Great idea to use up those scraps for this and I really love your image choices too!! Thanks for sharing my friend!

These bookmarks are so fun, creative and lovely! I have a huge soft spot in my heart for handmade bookmarks. When I was little (circa age 11), my siblings and I started a summertime business of our own in which we made and sold handmade paper bookmarks door-to-door in our neighbourhood. It was a lot of fun and taught us some really useful business (and money management) skills at a young age. That was about 25 years ago now, but I still remember it as vividly as though it happened last week.
