The House That Stamps Built: Designer Choice Challenge

It's the first week of September so it's time for a Designer Choice Challenge at
The House That Stamps Built and it's my week to choose the challenge.
I choose use a recycled item on  your card/project.

I choose to recycle part of a Kleenex box, they always have the
cutest patterns and color combo's on them.   I paired it with  sentiments
from Repeat Impressions Hello Series. I did some ink distressing and die
cutting with stitched dies and added a few pearls from my stash.

Just a hint, it is easier if your recycled item is empty before you
decide to create with it.  I'm still waiting for my husband to
notice the back of the Kleenex box in our bathroom.

Join our weekly challenge, you might just
be the lucky winner of the monthly drawing for the
$25 Repeat Impression's  gift certificate. you don't have to use
Repeat Impression stamps but an extra chance if you do.
Drawing is the first Wednesday every month.

For inspiration check out what my teammates have created:

What a great challenge this month. I love how you used the tissue box. Such a pretty mountain scene I see. Paired with the hello makes a very awesome card.

You are too funny posting the pic of your mangled Kleenex box LOL That portion of the box really did make a fantastic card though - I love the colors you paired it with! What a fun challenge and a great resulting card!

WOW! OK, I was trying to figure out on the blog what you had recycled and so it's fabulous to come take a look at it up close! I love the pattern for the background and how you've used it on your card here! Very clever my friend!!

It looks amazing, Donna! I wondered how you achieved that cold, arctic look in your focal image, and thought, "I've never seen that die set before." Then I read about your upcycling! I often wonder how I'd use the tissue box images in a card, and now you have enlightened me! It looks BEAUTIFUL! hugs, de

What a fun design and love the idea of using the paper from the tissue box. If your husband is like mine he will never notice the missing back.

Hi, Donna! Awesome recycling of the Kleenex box! I've often thought of doing this but haven't actually remembered to do it. On your card it looks like mountains, very pretty!
