The House That Stamps Built: Designer Choice Challenge

Wendy picked this week for our DCC (Designer Choice Challenge) at The House
That Stamps Built and she choose CAS-lots of white space and minimal
embellishments. I am not good at white space so this was a challenge for me.

I started with one of my favorite Repeat Impression stamps to color:
Vase of Tulips,  and used some fall looking Copic colors. I used a white
die cut (Frame in Frame by Taylored Expressions) and a white embossed  layer
(with a circular design) from my ready  to go box and
stopped, no gems, no pearls.  That was difficult but I do like the result.
Thanks Wendy for the challenge!

Join our weekly challenge, you might just
be the lucky winner of the monthly drawing for the
$25 Repeat Impression's  gift certificate. You don't have to use
Repeat Impression stamps but an extra chance if you do.
Drawing is the first Wednesday every month.

Very pretty - what a beautiful image to make a CAS card. I always want to add more - but love how you have framed this out - just the perfect touch.

Hi Donna. The stitching card on my blog was pierced by hand from a pattern and hand stitched.. I do have 4 dies that pierce a pattern but most of my cards are pierced by hand..Loz

Serenely lovely greeting. The monochromatic white layers are striking, but in no way overpowering - while also being a great reminder to us all to lean heavily on a single background colour sometimes.
