Hi, it's my turn for POTW (Pick of the Week) at The House That Stamps Built,
and I has several requests for the upright 4x4 sticky note holder that I had
on my blog a couple weeks ago. This is the design I made for today:
Lets start with supplies:
11" by 4 1/4 "
3" by 4 1/4"
5 1/2" by 4 3/4"
Some scraps
Pattern paper:
4" by 5 1/4"
3 1/2" by 2 1/4"
Stamps and embellishments of choice:
I used Repeat Impressions:
paper. Scor 3" by 4 1/4" patterned paper at 1/2", 1 1/2" and 2". Set aside.
Scor 5 1/2" by 4 3/4" card stock 1/2" from both long edges sides and
at 2 1/2 and 3" as shown.
Trim tabs as below:
Add 3 1/2" by 2 1/4" patterned paper to this piece. Add Scor tape as shown to tabs,
card stock, attache at edge, press firmly. Remove other side and
close card stock and press.
Remove Scor tape from box part, fold small tab up then fold edge over. Press
firmly. Repeat on other side.
Put Scor tab on four side and down center, attach to main piece.
images, embellish, add your sticky notes and a pen!
Final project again:
I hope you enjoyed this rather lengthy tutorial, I just can't seem to do short
ones like my teammates. See you back on Wednesday for a new challenge at
The House!
A few fun challenges:
Scor-pal - more than 1 fold (twist not used) March 4/5
