I wanted to make a fun fold card for a dear friends birthday so I
decided to try a squash card. You can tell best by the
third picture how is squashes up to fold.
It was less complicated than I expected. The base is a
8 1/2" by 8 1/2" piece of double sided patterned paper.
You score at 4 1/4 " diagonally and vertically so
that it is quartered. Burnish the score lines. Then score
diagonally from both corners, burnish well.
I just eyeballed sizes for the front and two inside layers.
The flower and leaf are part of new set from
Altenew: Mini White Splendour Anemone. Colored
with Copics.

Beautiful squash card, Donna! I have made this for the inside of the regular card but I love how it is all on its own. Your designer paper was one of my favorites, and I'm so happy it's still in use.
