Time for a new bi-weekly challenge at Allsorts. This month's theme
is for a child or anything goes, chosen by Liz!
I went with a combination of Lawn Fawn stamps for a sea scene. I stamped
and die cut the sea animals from patterned card stock and added some Copic
coloring to them. The back ground is distress oxides: Mermaid Lagoon,
Broken China and Blueprint Sketch, spritzed with water and
bubbles from one of the sets embossed. Die cut some underwater
images, triple cut the round border and added a birthday
sentiment.
Supplies:
Lawn Fawn:So Jelly, Sea Horsin Around, Circle Die and Sentiment Banner
Taylored Expressions: Build a Scene Underwater dies

Such a sweet underwater scene and the sentiment is too cute. (BTW - Liz chose the theme this week x)
Lawn Fawn has the cutest images!
Wonderful scene, and great sentiment!
Suddenly dawned on me I'd not visited you, for whatever reason your post's not shown up on my dashboard. A very sweet underwater scene and fun sentiment to go with it.

Awe! How cute is this underwater window scene! I adore those LF stamps and your colors are so fun, bright and great for a child's card too!
A cute underwater scene. Love the sea animals and the punny sentiment.
love this card
This underwater birthday card is bursting with charm. The layered distress oxide background creates such a dreamy ocean vibe, and your mix of patterned paper and Copic coloring adds wonderful depth and texture to each sea creature. The embossed bubbles and triple-cut circle make it feel like we’re peeking into a cheerful underwater world—just perfect for bringing a smile to any child's face.
Totally adorable and perfect for child, love it!
Donna, this is darling! Your textured background is especially realistic! Years ago (24? 25? years ago?) we used to make a card similar to this. It was made using clear sandwich baggies we cut, filled with hair gel, and filled with a little glitter or sequins. An underwater scene was shown beneath it all. The recipient could squeeze the hair gel for interaction. That was a big deal way back then. Your artsy background looks just like that! So sweet! In case you have not heard of hair gel cards, here is an address to a youtube you can copy-and-paste: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mxFZHP28BS0
